We’re happy to announce the release of Magnolia CORE 5.5.1. This release provides many improvements and bugfixes. Here is a short summary:

Thumbnails are shown for assets in the tree and list views of the Assets app, and previews are displayed in the Assets chooser dialog.
Updated previews (in portrait and landscape) are available for contemporary tablets and smartphones.
The copy-and-paste function for page components now works across multiple pages in the page editor.
The Resources module introduces the resfn templating function in the new submodule magnolia-resources-templating.
The Magnolia resources directory supports symbolic links pointing to light modules kept in different locations and repositories.
The time zone now resolves either to the user's preferred time zone or to system's default.
Moving a node by drag-and-drop is now possible also at the root level.

There is a link to the release notes below as usual. You can check out the full changelog from there. Many thanks to everyone who reported, helped fix or simply commented on these issues.
